New phone suggestions...

    New phone suggestions...

    So my wife just got a new phone (her old Iphone had about had it) and now my step son wants my phone. I have an Iphone4. He would just be using it for the Ipod functionality for a while. I don't really care to get a new phone but he REALLY wants mine. So I have decided to just shop around and see what is what.

    My wife got the Samsung Galaxy s4 and it seems like it's pretty nice. I also like the looks of the HTC One with it's metal case.

    Any suggestions or opinions on a new smart phone?

    Wish I could help, but ever since 2 years ago when I discovered the amazing powers of the iphone, I never looked at any other phone.

    I can see myself getting the iphone 5 down the road, but for now the 4 is pretty sweet for what I need.

      I hear you. I like it myself and never thought of getting rid of it until he started hitting me up for it. I may just go to the Iphone 5. One thing I don't like about the 2 I mentioned above is they are big!

        Yeah one of my buddies JUST got that thing...its like carrying a freaking ipad lmfao the screen is HUGE.
        I had blackberries for so many years probably 5 years before the iphone. Never had any of those galaxies, or samsum phones.

          I got rid of my Iphone and got a Galaxy SIII. The iphones software is all proprietary, and you are limited to internal memory. The s3 has removable micro sd card, so I put all my music on that, and when its full just get another card. With the iphone, once its full you have to delete things. Plus the s3 or s4 are droid based and windows compatible. You can hook the galaxy straight to your computer and look at anything on the phone troubleshoot it, or do just about anything you want to it. Apple really pissed me off. My laptop crashed last year and I had to wipe out the hard drive and reformat it. Well I lost my iTunes and when I downloaded the new iTunes it wouldn't let me put all my music back into my iTunes from my ipod. I know it can be done but apple wanted to charge me like $40 and hour to talk me through it, and then they tried emailing me the instructions, and to this day I still cant get all my music off my ipod into my iTunes. So F apple. There is no reason for things to be that difficult.
