Rant of the day!! fcuking DJ cost my client 2nd place

Alright.

My client started at 180lbs 5'8
7 months later the day of the show 160lbs ripped to bones.


Long story short:

30 seconds before he goes on stage to do his 1 minute routine in the night show, the guy with the headphones: WE DO NOT HAVE YOUR MUSIC...my client looks at me??

THEY HAVE YOUR MUSIC!!

the guy with headphones in 7 seconds you're going on stage, the DJ will pick a ramdon song...he can't find your music.

my client was so desoriented, and lost....he got on stage, missed the entire posing routine, ws not smiling......the guy was already suffering from water depletion for 24 hours WTF


he walks off stage, adn the guy says: SORRY WE FOUND YOUR MUSIC!!

WHAT THE FCK!!!! REALLY?????

A minute later the line up is back again, he earned a 2nd place out of 7 guys.

When WE KNEW all morning he had been leading in points, and he even showed up to the night show SO FCKING DRY it was unreal!!!

3 days later, we get the final results, he lost by 1 point to the first place. 1 POINT FML!!!


I realize that this kind of stuff happens with pros even, but come on now, these athletes prepare themselves for many months of hard core training and nutriotn, all for some stupid assss dj to mess up their final posing.


Anyhow he qualified to move onto provincial level competition, which he will do in September, and him and I are very angry at this.


Revenge is coming!

This shit can happen all the time. He should have just gone out and done his routine like he did a 100 times before this moment. Or just free pose for 60 seconds with the mandatories.

Was this a NPC show? Because if it was the night show routine is never counted in the point scoring. Prejudging in the am is when the score are recorded and totaled. So, when the night show starts all the Placing are done and in the hands of the MC so he can run the show.

Maybe your shows run different. It is just hard to tabulate scores at night and keep the show running. The only scoring at night is the over alls of the different classes.

You friends hard work still paid off. Look at all the photos of him and the first place guy. be honest with what you see., They must have been very equal.

Yes most if not all the decisions are made in the morning....but there is always that time when there may be a tie 50/50 and the night show deliniates the winner.

In this case my guy had the first spot all during the morning, first call out....and the other guy was second....so it was def shocking to see an offset.

My clients first show...so yes most of us who have competed several times, would hit the stage and freepose...but for a guy who was programmed to do a certain routine, "free posing" was not a part of his artillery.

I met with him today, he has added on 17lbs since Saturday hahahah

And we start training for provincials which is in 12 weeks tomorrow.
We will leave NOTHING for the judges on that one!!!

I cut his sodium Thursday at 5PM
I cut his water noon time friday.
And after the weight ins, I told him to go have large french fries and 2 double quater pounder burgers.....
He was very dry during the morning, but came in EVEN MORE dry during the 7PM night show.

if anything this speaks to how much better your client was! to come in second place only to get beat out by 1 piont to the winner with a totlay messed up posing routine due to the dj just tells me your guy killed it! good work brother next time he will take home the win!

Ok I still say he had second at the end of prejudging . Ties would have been broken
before the night show. You realize several judges had him first and several had
him second.
For example: remember to remove 1 high and 1 low score. 7 judges
1 2 2 2 11 2 your friends score card total score 8
2 1 1 2 1 2 1 the guy that got first total score 7 he wins by one point

Just like that he could have second. All I'm trying to say is your friend got second.
Thats ok the dude rocked his first show. He needs to learn now scoring is subjective.
Look how many judges had him first?

He did great!! He should be on top of the world with 2nd. Guys compete for years
and never place.

Your explanation makes sense!
Yes he actually knew 4 other first time competitors who earned 4 and 5 places. First comp ever.

He is very happy, but the dj thing really threw him for a loop.
