There should indeed be a zero tolerance, however I don't think commanders should be punished for assaults in their unit unless they somehow were lax on such crimes or encouraged it. I thought there was already a zero tolerance policy in place for sexual assault crimes.Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. i've been in the military justice system for a short period and witnessed military members who got into trouble for alleged sex crimes...understanding that people minimize fault i can still fairly say that more than half of the accusations are false...men are totally at the mercy of the women...they can say whatever they want without reprecussion and JAG WILL pursue any claims and ruin the career or move to incarcerate with little or no evidence...they push plea bargains on these guys and threaten them with everything until they give up and many many times admit to something they didn't do...u piss a female military member off and she has you...it is really a vulnerable position to be in for those menComment
