I love animals especailly when thier babies. I hate it when an animal is hurt, hate to see them suffering. I have 3 dogs and I ve seen them hurt. Makes me feel sad cause they are like us living things and have feelings too.

good luck for your dog, it will be tough for her but with a good family to help she will be chasing squirrels in no time.

Ditto on that one, large breeds are prone to hip dysplasia - even when the parents are certified by the OFA - so with a hindquarter injury, make sure to keep the pup LEAN during the heavy growth months to alleviate any stress caused by excess weight. I would recommend never feeding puppy food to large breed dogs, most of them contain so many cals and so much protien, that they spur growth that's too rapid for delicate joints and tendons at this early stage.

Sorry to hear about your pup....I kinda lost track. Anyone that knows me knows I have a soft spot for all animals, with dogs in particular

Good luck and a great recovery to your Bernard. I just lost my 4 month old Great Pyranees puppy to rat poison a few days ago that was imported on my property by a dieing rabbitt that had swallowed some. Being a pup, she had to chew on it and well.....
