he's a tough coach...other than that i don't see a problem with anything...his coaching style is abrasive, but these kids know this before they play for him...you can't complain about it later...it's kinda like getting a job a walmart and then *****ing about the pay/benefits...
Re: rutgers incident and the pussification of america
I'm gonna be real, if that kid did to me what I saw on video he'd get his ass beat. I'm the least violent person in the world probably but I'm nobodies *****hh
Re: rutgers incident and the pussification of america
I have a son who is just in his teen years... I dont condone him being mean to anyone. HOWEVER.. with that being said he also knows that i will support him 100 percent if he kicks someones ass who is picking on him or others...

Nothing wrong with coaches being tough on there players, but The Rutgers coach was way over the line and I'm pretty sure has some mental issues. No one would throw a basketball at my face

damn i remember back in the 80s in high school athletics. coach basically tortured us, verbally and physically. if a kid told his mom or dad they would tell him to man up! I am glad i did it, made me a better person and for sure i can take an insult better and appreciate less now.
i remember i got into a fist fight with another kid and coach gave us the choice of kissing the other kid or licks and detention. coach was 6'5" 260# and he had a custom fiberglass paddle that was legendary (we heard about kids with broken butt bones and kids whose hair turned white after licks it hurt so bad) we kissed, it was awful.
young people are pussies, and my dad called me a *****, and his dad him. but i think my generation was the last good one. the 90s everything had to be PC and corporal punishment was frowned upon. all kids were winners even if they didnt do anything. they feel entitled to absolute respect even though they didnt earn it
"SHIAT BIOTCH, thats a big ass!"

This might be giving away my age, but that kind of abuse was common from gym teachers and coaches. Verbal abuse. Physical abuse. I remember a middle school gym teacher grabbing my hair and tried to lift me off the ground by it. Then for good measure, he slammed my head against a locker..why? Chewing gum.
I remember one game, I got hit so hard I couildnt stand up, and I remember it like yesterday my coach saying "Get the **** off the field you ****ing *****, you just got your ass kicked"
I got kicked off of the track team for fighting with the coach..coaches were assholes back then
