Where the **** is the outrage?? Almost 10 Million kids are now on Ritalin? Thats what I read somewhere. Programming our childrens minds to accept that its ok to modify their brain with drugs. Kids are now to taught that if you have a problem, take a pill for it. I cant even believe this. What the **** is going on? Who and what is responsible for this? I saw a disgusting commercial today for CHILDRENS Motrin. Showed a little girl deathly sick, then her mother gives her Childrens Motrin and suddenly the little girl is back to normal laughing and having fun. All in the name of profit. Ok, thank you for letting me vent. We cant even let kids be kids anymore????

DAmn you gotta be shittin me... well, kids have been ****ing around with drugs and alcohol for forever, the thing that sucks about this, is kids are being forced to take drugs or get kicked out ofschool...they are forced to go to a psychiatrist and forced to take mind alteaering drigs. At least in my day, the kids who were on drugs, CHOSE to be on drugs..kids now days might have to be on drugs..****ing bullshit

i totally agree with you, but this isnt knew. when i was a kid i was put through the same procedure, didnt think much of it, trusted my mom and dad and did what i was told. i have taken ritalin, and some other shit just like it to calm me down, and it did calm me down, but it also killed my appetite. after several years of taking proscription drugs for hyperactiveness i asked myself "why the hell am i taking this drug? why do i have to rely on a pill for something in my life?" so i told my parents i stopped taking it, and im not doing it anymore.

anywase i am absolutely against it, and this is just another issue we have in sensitive america where every problem has a solution, every issue has a movement, where any dip shit can become a politician and pass laws enforcing our young ones to take vaccines. drives me nuts...absolutely pisses me off.

There's not a whole lot of outrage since the mainstream media depend on advertising dollars from the very companies producing these drugs.

Now, of there is an absolute need for a child to take a drug of this nature, then I'm all for it as long as ALL other options are exhusted. It seems more common now that kids are drugged out of a need for "convenient behavior" rather than channelling these energies toward a more productive end.

Well parents have no one to blame but themselves some of them......no a whole lot of the go with what the school recomends which mostly is medication(lazy sheisty devious BASTARDS),most time when the school sends your child to be check out by those scam artists that will put your child on medication,PLEASE take your child somewhere else for a second opinion

if it was up to me, and my child had a life threatening issue that could be corrected through prescription medication then i am all for it, or a serious illness etc, but ritalin, prozac, and some of these other things is just ridiculous. its like how did the children in the earlier generations survive without this stuff? how could man kind have survived for so long without it? of course its a money grab. we are living in prescription america, and if you watch television during the day heres two things you'll commonly see, a prescription medication commercial for something that possibly may treat a problem, or a attorney commercial advertising a claim that you are entitled to money if you took PQR prescription drug. the hipocracy.

Was talkking to my girl and her daughter has ahyperactive 8 year old. They have an appointment for this innocent little boy to see a PSYCHIATRIST. Those are the worst kinds of doctors on e3arth, totally under the drug companies. How would any child feel if he was taken to a psychiatrist?????? Like something is wrong with them. That in itself could scar a kid for life...but nobody cares asd long as the psychiatrist and drug company keep making money...That Dr has a huge mortgage on the mansion, and has to pay for trips to europe each year for all his kids and the beach house in the Bahamas..the drug salesman?, well, he is sitting in a luxury box at the bears games and has his Bentley parked in private parking, drinking Dom Pergnon while eating gourmet, while watching the game...this aint no shit either. Ive seen it.

what about getting the kid into several sports in the community? that may help, kids are hyperactive bc their metabolisms are through the roof, just get them to burn off that energy by running playing soccer, baseball, and swimming.
