Outrageous Cell Phone charges-

Last night I got this alert from Verizon saying
"Your account has used approximately 90% of your data allowance for this month. Your monthly data allowance will reset on the 6th of April."
Wtf? They give you all this stuff to use, then you use it and they bleed you to death LOL...my bill last month was $300. This month I bet its $400+. I am going to call Verizon and ask them wth is up. I thought my data useage was unlimited but obviously, Its not LOL
Somoene told me Verizon no longer offers unlimited data packages. Is that true?
Anyone else have these kinds of crazy things with your phone?

No i have metro pcs ,yes i have certian limitations so does my budget,i'm tired of being nickel and dimed by them companies my bill is $50 a month and my company pays it.

Dayum, $400 dollar cell phone bill ? I remember mine would run around maby $40, then got up to $181 after my Gf's daughter got a hold of it one day. S#it, my summer electric bills are less expensive than that ! I bought a $16 dollar phone and a $25 750 minute card for 30 days and still have 600 and something minutes on it.

Ok, Verizon just switched me from 2 gb a month to 6 gb for I think another $20.. I dont know if it will save me money or not. These Verizon people are good at making shit confusing LOL

I'm as old school as it gets when it comes to phones. I went from flip att after almost 30 years with them. I wanted to get the iphone 4 when the 5s came out. I did not like att plan. It was very controled and not custom to my wife and my needs.

Verizon was very clear to me. Unlimited talk and text. Ok thats clear, Now how many gigs do I want to share with the wife. Lets remember when in a wifi zone we are not using gigs. So, I have wifi at home and wifi at work. The wifi is at home or running about town. I started with 2 gig. I reviewed our use after 1 month. Hot damn we didn't use .25 of the one gig. So, I stopped in the store and ask that I go to 1gig shared. No kidding.

So, in a nut shell I have to 4s phones. In my mind unlimited everything really. Monthly bill $141/ 2 phones. Done and done and Im the old guy.

All I can say is you must never be in a wifi zone? I would have consider getting wifi to your home vers maybe the cost of that 4gig upgrade? I just like to eyeball all the different cost to reach the same goal in the end. I'm also not so sure you are going from 2gig to 6gig for just $20 buck. Thats 4 more gig. I thought it was $10 per gig as you add gig. I would confirm that If I were you. I'm thinking it will be $40/mo or $480 year.

I use those at&t phone that you gotta charge up every month. I get the 50 dollars and its unlimited everything.
