Anybody ever use a 3cc syringe with a 20g to inject flavor into meat? LOL! That's all I got, and I'm staring at a 4lb roast of beef. I'm about to do it, thought it was funny ha ha!

I have a Cajun Injector that I use sometimes when im roasting chicken. I like to make up my own marinades and flavor them, I have an elk roast that I'll probally try sometime. Watcha' planning on putting in yours ?Leaders did what others weren't willing to do, now they enjoy the things that others do not.

Its called larding in culinary terms.
Yes often people will inject fat into lean meats to make them flavour more. Or special oils with spices and herbs.

Re: Injecting flavor into meat
i make a garlic and black pepper butter and inject it into turkeys and chickens before i throw them on the smoker. also i water down BBQ sauce and inject pork shoulders, they come out so moist and tender it's crazy good.
never done a brisket will have to try it but they tend to stay pretty well moist anyway
