I had a buddy call me at work telling me that the local shooting range had an AR they just got in. So he called them and had them hold it for me. It's not a top of the line by any means but it was cheap. It's a DPMS Oracle. It was brand new and I got it at 740.00. I believe that was the price before everyone got scared of the ban. So I figure I for sure didn't get hurt regardless. I don't think. I'll post a pic when I get a chance.

Good luck gettng ammo for it....thats the new gun control. ..our shelves are bare down here, only ammo you can get s shotgun, I bought the kast 3bixes of .223 in he entire city, that was 3 weeks agoComment

Guys here wait in line for the doors to open on the days the trucks get here, and they rush in like it's Christmas. 25000 rounds of ammo gone by lunch at Gander EVERY time it comes from what I've been told. DPSM is not bad, I have a DPMS panther lite and enjoy shooting it as much as my tricked out custom AR.
only thing I would change on it is the trigger. get a custom drop in and it will shoot just like like the expensive RRA or bushys. CDDN has mags for $24 in stock. have not found any .223 or 5.56.
my panther is a 1x9 barrel twist as well and shoots lighter 55 gr rounds the best, cant tell a dif until you get out to 150+ yards with the heavier stuff

What about optics? The Oracle comes with no sights and I want a red dot. I watched a review video of a BSA (I believe it was) from Gander and got a good review...only 39.00
