Had my camera out in woods for the last 3 weeks. Had 746 pictures on it. I love putting my cams out and going to see whats been lurking around.
Got most of the pictures before the storm. I had to hike 1000yards through nut high snow with a 60lb pack on to get there. I was beat by the time i got there, but it was a good workout at least.
Its funny cause i know i love deer more than people who "wouldnt kill one" for various reasons. I just accept it as part of the cycle of things. I by no means judge someone who doesnt hunt but when people look down on it who aren't vegetarians its pretty annoying. I mainly film and hold out for the big boy in the woods. If i was a killer i wood shoot 20 a year. I average one every 2 years. I am really enjoying the meat from the one in my avatar. I may get a few doe tags and a extra freezer and stock up. Think of how many lbs of lean red meat are in those pics. I have been making meatloaf with oatmeal, venison and egg beaters like a mofo.
i do not judge or look down on people who hunt especially those who hunt for the food and not just for sport, i grew up in a city i have never hunted before in my life im sure i would hunt dear if i was more into hunting. i would love a freezer stocked up with cheap meat that is fresh that i killed myself thats forsure. i think the biggest reason i have not hunted yet is becuase i have no idea how to dress or cook these animals. wild hog is what i want to hunt first, mainly bcuz i live in south fl and deer is hard to find unless you do some serious driving. and you dont need a hunting license to hunt them

i cant wait to see them, i go for the big boys but if i have nothing to eat then i get one that is legal but that is hardly ever. im glad you shared those with us.
