ANYONE OWN A SUPERMOTO OR DUAL SPORT?

i have decided to buy a motor cycle for a lot of reasons. it will be my first road legal bike but i have owned a few dirt bikes in my day. I will be buying a 2013 DR-Z400SM super moto bike. im pretty pump will be a few more months before i get the down payment i want to put on it but im excited. i just wanted to know if anyone has owned or owns a dual sport or supermoto. after its paid off i will be buying a super sport bike probably just a used r1 or something.

dual sport are the dirt bikes that are street legal im not sure how to describe a supermoto except that they are just kind of more street orentited kind of badass dual sports.
what kind of bike do you have?

What is the purpose of this bike? Thaty you can go off road too?

there just fun, they can go off road and on road **** to f around on, plus you get the reliability and ruggedness of a dirtbike you can dog the shit out of them and they just keep going. i want a suport bike ass well but i grew up riding dirt bikes and ive always wanted a street legal supermoto

Hey man, thats soulnds cool. Good that you can ride off road and on the road. I wish I could do that, I ride in th e dirt only. At least right now. I bought a Honda cfr450x from a good member of the board. I still have it a couple years later. Hopefully will be warm enough t ride this weekend.
No street riding with this. NOT STREET LEGAL...It is way more power than I could have ever imagined. I was lucky I didnt have any injurieswith some of the shit I did right off the bat on the first day out. Crashed hard several times. Did a face plant into the dirt with no helmet on. That was the first summer of dirt riding in 20 years. I thought I would pick it right up here I left off ROCKS. I damn near kilt myself. I ride a lot more conservative now. Im like an old man out there on a way to powerful motorcycleLOLEdit0This is the streeet legal one, I think

nice! i used to have a kx250 2 stroke with a blue printed motor and a few other goodies it was fast as shit. theres not really an places to do and real off road riding neear me but there are some places to drop in have some fun and ride home, it will be more of a play commuter bike. then i willbe looking for either a gasxr 750 and an r1 or cbr1000rr or something. well see how funds are though
