    Re: AR15

I was just in my local walmart and saw a DPMS AR15 just like mine for 617.00! That's about as cheap as it gets.

They emailed me the price so I called them to make sure it was not a misprint

cool. i just bought some .22 ammo yesterday at walmart. i have a conversion as well. mine is picky what kind of ammo it likes. HV round point ammo works well. also it is so quiet i could shoot it in the back yard. it is no louder than an air rifle. (but i wouldn't shoot it in a residential area)

That sounds nice. I need to get the 22 conversion too. My AR gets expensive to shoot.

                  Re: AR15

Listening to you guys talk about shopping for guns and Ammo at Walamrt gets me so freakin jealous. Dont have that here in NJ and must go to a gun shop or online. so i did end up picking up an S&W M&P Sport 223 to go with the S&W M&P 15 22 cuase i liked it s much.

its fun but cant imagine having a full 30 round mag and trenching through the woods. First all cant have more than 15 round mags here in NJ, good luck finding anything more than 10. so i went on line and found these 30 round mags that have a pin in them so you cant load more than 10. Nice thing about youtube, they have everything you ever need to know there. did a search and found a video of a guy drilling this small hole in a certain location and pulling the pin out with a toothpick. Tried it the first time and it took me two tries but it worked. On my second mag hit it on the first shot. Looking to find 30 mags for the 223 but no one will sell to me in Nj.

                    Re: AR15

With 22 conversion you usually want to use high quality 22lr ammo and usually a higher grain load works better. man that sucks not being able to get mags that hold over 10-15. hell my pistol has holds 11-20 depending on what magazine i have in it and i even have a 30 a 33 and a 35 round magazine for it lol
