Verizon calls "Your bill is $987"

I had my mom's phone on my bill and after she died, I called and cancelled that phone a few weeks ago...Then I get an automated phone call yesterday saying my amt due is $987!...I called Verizon just now and she says it looks like someone made a terrible mistake on my bill..I said to her "What? a $900 mistake? How does that happen?" She says to me "Well,mistakes can happen"...

My comcast bill has mistakes every freakin month..I think they do that crap on purpose to see what they can get away with...but 900? they went a lil overboard..lol

Comcast is a ratty ass company. I severed ties with them a few years ago and never looked back. Went with a satellite provider and have been very happy.

Yes, after we talked, she said my actual bill was about a $90. How the hell did Verizon come up with $987? I bet some people dont question it and just pay it, thinking "damn, I must have really went over last month on my phone calls, texting, internet, etc"
It pays to pay attention to all your bills. Especially Verizon..those bastards have overcharged me so many times its ridiculous

How many times do bank tellers screw up and put your deposit in someone else's account? That shit actually happens more often than people would believe.

I had a situation like that with at&t back in the day.. send me a $400 bill with no breakdown of charges. Called and asked for it.. 5 times. Never received it... never paid the bill either. Switched carriers and put in a letter of dispute with the credit bureau.

Comcast is the worst company ive ever dealt with. i have free Comcast cable in my apartment and the company is so shitty and they ****ed up like 4 times i almost said **** it and went somewhere else and paid for my cable. as for virizon i like them i have them but i really hate any and all companies that make you sign contracts. mistakes can happen ya 5 bucks maybe i would have told her thank you but i dont want to do business with a company that makes a 900 mistaker and cancelled my service right there. i ****ing hate companies and how everyone does business now
