Vick's Vapor rub on the feet when you sleep?

Has anyone evr rubbed Vicks on your feet and put socks on when you go to sleep? This is supposed to help if you have a cough at night and I know people who have said that it works.

My girl does it to her and our kids. I also take the nostril approach. She swears by it.

Yep. My girl is getting over a bad cold now.... the vics on her feet gives her a better nights rest. Also on a towel against the chest helps loosen up the congestion

I would freak the hell out...I usually don't wear socks and to smother the feet with vapo rub and socks...uhg.. CLAUSTROPHOBIA for my toes. Definitely goes on the chest though, or in a vaporizer mist.
