Tshirt business

Has anyone ever owned a tshirt business? My buddy and I are trying to come up with a catchy name. From the research I've done, it looks like the name sells as much as the design. Most big sellers have a great name but the design is just not much. Many times its just the name in different fonts. We already have the printing equipment so the biggest cost is done.

I'm just curious, for owners, how is you come up with a name? I need something that will catch the eye of the 18-30 clubbing crowd. It seems like if you can sell your product to this group, you can really market your product.

A catchy name can do wonders! Look at the "Affliction"line of shirts, catchy name and cool shirts. Never had any in Fuzo's size though, lol. Maybe we can come up with a good name right here. What style/design of shirts are you going with? Foe men only?

Right now the design and style would be simple. I'm thinking 2 or 3 designs with just our logo to get the name out and go from there. I want to target men and women both....too much market on both sides to skip out on one

most the companys that sell their name, hire a sports person to brand that name.... "DC", "volcom", ect...they all were nothing until the endorsed skateboarders, snow boarders, act.... i now what your saying...usually 1 simple design just change up a little...i got a couple of those "F" shirts...i still have NO fuin idea what the "f" stands for!! lol...just seen them at pacsun and like them....

i used to for for harlequin nature graphics in Ft Myers fl. we did all the earth day shirt, plus just about ALL the zoos and wildlife preserve;s in the world...it was a big ass company at one time...started out of a garage with 2 guys!!!
