so Ive never really been a gloves or braces, straps kinda guy but its getting to the point where i might need some wrist straps and supports I know we have some great sponsors here and I would love to get some stuff from them. So my question to you guys and ladys, what do you use? which brand? which ones? feel free to post some links for me that would be great. thinking of an elbow support as well. any feed back would be awesome!!
What are you goals. Different tools for different jobs. Id invest in a good belt before the wraps and straps.
Remember you only want to utilize these tools during your heavy sets. We should not lean on these for regular working sets or we will become dependent on them.
I wouldn't rule out wrist wraps but build that grip strength up before straps. Each person is different and so are goals. I dead lift just shy of 650. I have a belt and chalk. Let's just say grip isn't my limiting factor.
I'm just now overcoming tendon issues in my left elbow. I've only used light neoprene supports, but it's helped enough. I'm going to keep wearing the support for a couple more months. Because it looks cool.
I use wraps for my wrists to keep them tight and on chest day I will wrap my elbows thats it.

Can you post a link to what you have or a pic?? I keep having issues with both my elbows hurt like a muther.... I use supports but they cut my arm up on heay shoulder by tri days... looking for diff. options..
I just got a pair of Versa Gripps after my old faithful straps starting tearing. It took me a couple sessions to get used to them, but it is a world of difference. I can actually feel everything so much better that my arms are out of the movement.

I am also looking for support for my elbow... its hurts like a ***** on tri days and shoulder days... and for a few days after. I tried one of those sleeves, but it really did not do jack shit. I was thinking of trying to wrap it.... but i might just end up taking a little time off to let it all heal on its own. not sure yet.
