      UPDATE TODAY!

So i went for the second opinion today with another reputable cardiologist. Had two stress tests done which included the echo. The Dr. was kind enough to review the results immedialtely as he knew i was there for a second opinion and was stressed about it.

He comes in and reviewed the results again, takes my blood pressure from several different locations, listens to my heart and lungs as says "ok, let me explain". At this point i was like oh no wtf! He said, before i explain i'll make this comment short "i see absolutely nothing wrong with your heart". In fact and for your age, your arteries are prestine, your heart expands and contracts as it should and i see no signs of cardiomyapathy. However, he did note that my heart is slightly larger than normal which can be caused by high blood pressure. As i do not have high blood pressure, there is something called an athletic heart. From his looks, he could tell that i lift wieghts and excersize alot and that an enlarged heart is a result of that. No big problem at all.

Said, in his opinion continue doing what i am doing.....is this not unreal! Two very different opinions.

With that said, i am relieved and excited. As i have not lifted a weight in 6 days, tomorrow i'm going to lift some #$%^ weights! HOORAY

Thaks for all your input and support folks....really appreciate it.

        Re: Dr's Orders...not happy

i just think the first doc is snake bit!! he's been poisoned some how...law suits, insurance company, missed diagnosys at some point with a simalir patient, whatever... he errors on the WAY over-cautious side. i'd stick with the second guy if it were me...not becouse he told me what i wanted to hear, but if there was a prob, he'd have confirmed it for the same reasons above!!
