When the work is there...just had to jump ship from my old job..too many guys, not enough work. New gig is the same deal though. But yeah, 7 12's will have you banking the money.

Damn I feel lazy. I don't think I'd ever take a job knowing there is that much time involved.
I'll do my 40 maybe 50 for a short time but no amount of money replaces time with my kids.
The job can be boring, but damn I love being an accountant.Comment

Overtime is good, but like some of you mentioned it takes a toll on your family. When I was roofing, out of town trips was were the money was made, 16+ hour days in the middle of summer sucked, but being on time and a half your 3rd day there made it a bearable lol. Nothing like breaking 100+ hours in a week and giving mama a nice paycheck, except that first night back in the same bed
