Anybody have weekly events they do with their kids?
Anybody have weekly events they do with their kids?
Mine use to be taking them to DQ every Friday night so they can split a small ice cream and rent a movie from redbox. Recently we've been keeping the movies on Friday nights, and instead of ice cream, wife makes popcorn ha ha.

There's a National Park around my way we like to visit. Nice for hiking. The kids are into trains and sometimes we luck out catch a freight train as it rolls through.

Our regular events are just finding new things to do.We have done all the local things so much that we are always searching the internet to find new places to go and new things to do.

We don't havre a specific thing we do weekly, but we try to do something often. Sounds like a good idea though. Everyone looks forward to that thing then.

I "work from home" ever other Friday. I actually hang with my 2.5 year old. We do something(children museum, beach, pool, park, toddler gymnastics, play date with neighbor kid) and we get Mexican food. Come home cuddle take a nap. I have been doing this for 4 or 5 monthes and it's been some of the best days of my life.
NOT REALLY,,,,THEY'RE GETTING TO OLD FOR HANGIN WITH THE OLDMAN!!! I GOT WEEKLY SHYT I TRY TO DO WITHOUT THEM NOW!!!

We normally go eat somewhere on the weekends right now. My wife is in school full time so my money is pretty tight at the moment. But she gets out next year and our 10 year old has been mentioning jr dragsters. So I'm thinking about getting him a jr dragster and that be our little project. I think that will be a blast!! I can get my racing fix and he can race a cool looking little car!
I am also planning a pro touring type truck project in the future. I want something that will be "our" thing and he loves anything that has to do with racing.
He also wants to start Muay Thai but that will be next year
