LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A medical marijuana trade group and 11 patients sued the city of Los Angeles on Friday, seeking to block enforcement of an ordinance that would shut down most of the city's storefront pot dispensaries in three weeks.

We have one in our town and you would never now it was there, I've been in there a few times and it's not like the big "marijuana drug house" as the media has you to believe. You need your state card and become a club member $5 per day or $20 a month, the people are there to help not "push drugs", lotta folks my age and older 60's or so (im fortysix) that have real debilitating illnesses that dont want to be on a s#itload of high dollar addictive and even more debilitating perscription drugs. They have cooking and growing classes, barbeques and get togethers, nursery supplies, all different kinds of homemade edibles like suckers, jolly ranchers, Kush crispies, brownies cookies and cakes,..as well as oils, creams and tinctures...and ofcourse bud sativas, indicas and hash. I think the freedom that we have acomplished is freakin' remarkable to say the least ! Never back in the day did I think I would be able to go into my po' dunk a$$ed town and buy medicine,...real medicine.
