I've actually got a lot of motorcycle gear that I need to put on ebay. I've never listed anything on there before.

I've sold weight equipment and a macbook on craigslist before. Both actually sold within 2 days of listing. Now with craigslist, you have to worry about getting robbed when they come get your stuff.

I found a way to deter would be thieves...at least somewhat. I had my gate code changed to "666" so anytime anyone wants me to beep them in they have to dial 666. Now people always comment that it freaks them out when they come here. Good....mission accomplished.

Craigslist the one thing I hate is the emails. I can't stand how they ask "is this still available" then you respond yes it's still available and they never respond again. I swear some dude out there is paid to just troll craigslist asking people if stuff is available with no purpose. The other one I hate is when they go back and forth on email with me, then after they agree to come out they'll ask my number, I give it to them, and they never show up or respond to any emails after that. WTF? F'n craigslisters!

first time sellers normally dont get good $$$. people are worried about getting scammed. sell little cheap things to build your seller rating.

i would sell the gear on craigs list. i always meet at the walmart parking lot under the cameras and of course i carry a pistol

I've never tried those. I get mad on the bidding war and I lose lol. I just stick with amazon.
