Mitt Romney called on Harry Reid Tuesday to reveal the source for his claim that the Republican presidential candidate has not paid taxes for 10 years, stepping up pressure as two major fact-check sites ruled Reid had no basis for the "incendiary" allegation.

This tax stuff is getting old. Something these idiot Democrats don't seem to understand is that his tax rate is lower because most of his taxes are from capital gains, not income. Wealthy people who own companies or are large shareholders don't usually pay themselves a high salary, so that they can avoid higher income taxes. Warren Buffett does the same thing, and probably every other millionaire who owns their own company. Those who run companies as CEOs and such have to pay themselves high salaries in addition to the shares they get because they don't own the company, thus the money coming in is not theirs to take.

What Romney should be demanding is for Reid to show his tax returns. That piece of trash went into the Senate decades ago worth nothing compared to the millions he's worth now. And how does that happen, because of corruption and insider trading. They are allowed to do insider trading. Isn't that nice.

Romney should just show the damn returns, but somehow I don't think it will matter because they will asks for more and more years of returns. What's crazy though is that Obama doesn't release anything, heck, he won't even release his transcripts from college or his passport records. I think we know why that is though. He was probably a foreign exchange student with decent but not perfect grades, and he has traveled to countries like Pakistan during times when they were on the banned list of countries to travel to from the U.S. like Cuba. Thus, he would have had to have a passport from a different country to do so, which means he had to at least be a dual citizen or a citizen of a different country altogether. That's too hard to believe for a lot of people, but he has stated that he visited Pakistan to see his family, and the years he visited they were on the banned list of cities.
