I know someone here had a GTO. We took one in on trade and i can buy it pretty cheap...just was wondering if this thing has any inherant probs i should know about...

i have one. it is bulletproof. beat the hell out of the car and it still drives like a champ. only prob is the door lock buzzes on the highway and my aftermarket exhaust is loose and bangs the rear diff.

actually it was the holden monaro in Austrailia and the vauxhall VXR in Europe. the mondeo is actually a ford family car. monaro/mondeo its like mike and mark easy to get mixed up.

i love my car. wish i had not modified it so much. the cam makes it sound awesome but it lopes and shakes at idle and it a handful on wet pavement

YEP.... I WAS TRYING TO REMEMBER WHO HAD ONE, IT WAS YOU JIPPED....YEA, I SOLD IT TOO FAST, BUT I DONT THINK I'D BE HAPPY. I STILL WANT A STANG OR A CHARGER/CHALLENGER SRT8 (I'M DRIVING A CHARGER SRT8 FOR A DEMO....BADASS!!)...
WE TOOK IN A 06 MUSTANG GT THAT WAS OWNED BY A MEMBER OF THE FORD SVT PROGRAM. THE BIG BOSS RECENTLY LEFT AND THIS GUY IS GOING OVER SEA'S WITH HIM. THIS STANG HAS 40K, BUT IT SOUNDS ALOT LIKE YOU DESCRIBED JIPPED...FRIKIN CAM IS HUGE...HURST SLAP SHIFT, SHAKER HOOD, STAINSTEEL EXCHAUST, HEADERS....THE WHOLE BIT. HE DID ALL THE WORK HIMSELF. I TOOK IT FOR THE WEEKEND WHEN WE FIRST GOT IT AND ITS JUST TOO MUCH...IT WAS SUPER FUN BUT I CANT IMAGINE SOMETHING LIKE THAT FOR A DAILY DRIVER!! ON TOP OF THAT IT GOT 11.7MPG!! AND I WAS TRYING TO GET GOOD MILAGE!! LOL

I would love to get an Aussie Ford Falcon in LHD. Those cars are simply beautiful
