Last month one of the usada officials came out and said they will use as much tax payer money as necessary to bring lance to justice.

That's an administration problem. The government officials perceive they have too much power and the administration lets them think this way so they flex it when they can. The other problem is that the people, which are the government, don't realize that they have the power to stop crap like this by voting. Oh the power of the ballot. It's only in election times that our officials realize their political fate hangs on our votes not their power.
Leave these sports stars alone and spend millions bringing down real criminals.

So this USADA is supposed to be an "independent" agency? Such bullshyt. I hope their is enough outcry against this crap that the USADA turns tail and run. This agency needs to be disbanded. Since when does a country spend time and money stripping its OWN athletes of Olympic gold?
