I just bought a C6 last week. This is my first Corvette so I still have some research to do for aftermarket mods. If anyone has any experience wit this please let me know your thoughts on exhaust and air intakes/cleaners. I'm thinking Corsa or B&B for exhaust and Hurricane for the intake but still researching.

Re: Any Corvette owners on here?
Wow, thats awesome. Your first Vette! Had a Corvette convertible. Loved that car. I sold it and hope to get another one someday. I got a Mustang convertible now , I needed the extra room for luggage , people, dog, etc. Love the Mustang, but Nothing better than a Corvette

Re: Any Corvette owners on here?
I always loved Mustangs too but my dream car has been a Corvette ever since 1997 when the C5 was introduced. You made the right choice though if you need room cause there's hardly any in the Vette, however surprisingly more than I expected. It's a 2005 with Z51 upgrade, 3LT interior, 6 speed manual, and only 19,000 miles.

Re: Any Corvette owners on here?
do you have the LS2 or LS3? i have a GTO with an LS1 (i needed 4 seats)
biggest bang for the buck is long tube headers, high flow or delete the cats and a tune. also it will sound wicked! i am not sold on the aftermarket intakes, for the money 3-5 real world HP..........
cam and heads would be my next mods. LS3 heads are great, just have a CNC job on them and with the cam, CNC heads and headers look for massive HP gains. also a 100 shot of NOS makes a huge diff. i run a 75 dry shot and have for 5 years now. no probs. with all that you have to start driveline mods, clutch axel stubs ect.

Re: Any Corvette owners on here?
Its an LS2 6.0 liter with 400hp/400tq. I'm not looking to get too crazy but the exhaust is definitely getting changed soon. I'll start there and consider some other upgrades in time but thought of getting a C5 Z06 next time and moding it. Thanks for the suggestions. I imagine your GTO is fast as hell.Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. George Washington

Re: Any Corvette owners on here?
I can understand that too but I like the B&Bs that have a butterfly valve so that you can keep it quiet if you want and open it up when you want. Also, a lot of exhaust are not that loud at low RPMs. Still, I do see your point.Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.
