Will seeds be more valuable than gold?

Anyone hear about heirloom seeds? Heard about this on a talk show. Maybe its bs. I dont know. Kind of scary to think that the things would get so bad that people with seeds for food would be the ones in control. Seems a little far fetched, but I also thought having a president like Obama was far fetched and I was wrong.

i think its a wee bit crazy but seed packs are cheap. hell 10# of planting wheat is less than $1
