BEEN MARRIED 15YRS BEEN TOGETHER A TOTAL OF 22YRS.WE DATED 8 YEARS AND I DID NOT WANT TO GET MARRIED NO WAY. SO ONE DAY ITS GETTING CLOSE TO CHRISTMAS MY WIFES MA SAID TO ME YOU EITHER GOING TO SHIT OR GET OFF THE POT AND MARRY MY DAUGHTER ,TALK ABOUT PRESSURE,LOL. I DO HAVE TO SAY I LOVE MY INLAWS LIKE THEY WERE MY OWN MOM AND DAD. WE HAVE 1 DAUGHTER SHE'S IN THE 2ND GRADE.

It will be 15 years in November. 3 kids, daughter that's 13 , son that's 10, and a nephew we have custody of that's 5. We've had him since he was 18 months old.

Gosh, I envy you guys! ive neither been married nor do i have children, as I cant have them. Been with men, but havent met the right one, least the not the right one yet. Kudos to you all tho, as I know it take alot of give and take being with someone that long and children are a big undertaking, but well worth it..You only get out of it what you put in. I am not one that believes in this 50/50 relationships though. I mean im into equality and all, but im not a feminist and i think you both have to put in 110% Dont get pent on this equality stuff..just love each other and put forth everything you can to make it work. Everyone has drama at some point..no one is perfect..You have to take the good with the bad. Listen and be able to communicate and things will work themselves out. I dont think alot of couples give it enough. Never give up on each other if you truly love your other half.

married 21 yrs or so...have a 22yr old son, hes married. a 16yr old daughter and a 13yr old son.....5yrs and i'm FREEEEEE!!!!! lol.....(my daughter can stay as long as she wants....daddys girl!!)....and your right michelle...its too easy to quit. been many, many times over the years that, for a split second, you think "fuk this...i'd be happier on my own"....but i wouldnt be. we've had our battles, but we've been together forever...throu the good and bad and alot of pain. from literly, rags to riches (and back to rags, lol...hopefully heading towards riches again thou!!) we've been there for each other and quite frankly i dont know if either of us would know wtf to do without the other!! yep....been a long time...the warranty's been over for yrs now but i think i'm gonna keep 'er!! lol (ok.....she reads that and we'll visit the "battles" again, lol)
