    Texas Rep. Ron Paul's presidential campaign raised $4.5 million in January plus another $1.7 million last week in a "moneybomb," according to a statement released by the Paul team on Monday.

    Thanks for posting that Fuzo. It is amazing how much money Paul's campaign raises. Most of his money comes from individuals, not corporations like the other candidates. An article mentioned his money raising ability and said:
    "Among the most likely professions to contribute to Paul were dentists, educators and retirees. Many other donors worked in construction. A complete taxonomy of these contributors would also include many individuals in the publishing industry and still more worked for the federal government."

    I have met a lot of supporters for Paul and they do indeed range from blue collar workers to professors, medical professional to military (active duty and retired), college students to union workers, etc. But the big corporations don't give him a dime, nor do their lobbyists harass him for anything as they know he can't be bought.
