If your phone lines aren't ancient like mine (22 years old), DSL rocks IMO. I pay $39 a month for 500k download, 90K upload (yeah, not great upload).

Cable usually has a higher bandwidth (~1MB or more), but the problem is if others on your same "trunk" decide to get cable broadband, you all share the bandwidth. This usually isn't a problem, but in the near future as more people get broadband it might be an issue.

    I have Verizon DSL.

Mine gets fowarded to my office pc.. dial up.

The rest of the office is cable with the exception 3 computers, which are networked together on the dial up.

Cable modem at work , Dial; up at home . Since I'm kinda of far away from a tower, I will probably go with cable, DSL drops out too much. Bandwidth is not an issue for cable at this time.

                          yea cable is much better.
But I guess it all depends

With DSL the closer you are to your phone company the faster it works. But I think it only works if you are within 4 miles of the phone co.

The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.
