    Christmas shopping...

    Haven't started mine yet. I dread this every year. To me Christmas has lost its magic. The rat race to find gifts is fatiguing. In my family we try to make it about the kids and about "experience" as opposed to what your going to get gift wise.

    It also disgusts me when I see parents getting young children gifts like phones, ipads, computers, etc. If a young child has that stuff early in life what do you get them when they are teen agers? I think we have created a horrible cycle in this country and our youth will suffer in the long run...

    amen brotha. my son asked for common sense stuff mostly. at 18 he wanted some gift cards so he could take his gf out and use his paycheck for college and car stuff. asked for a leather jacket for his big ticket gift. got it for him and getting him a car starter for his first winter as a car owner in new england. he bought his own phone by working his butt off. wife also hasn't gone insane with the stupid lexus and diamond commercials on tv. asked for yoga pants, also a leather jacket and the usual victoria secrets goodies. im lucky with this family =)
    You may not recognize your mom when you get home, I shaved her back.

      My kids are not asking for much this year... That's good or they are spoiled brats and already have it! lol
