The slaughter houses are pretty cruel and they are transported in crappy trucks and crammmed in like sardines and driven hundreds off miles without food or water. That bothers me, but its one of those things you just cant think about it. It happens. The burgers we eat came to us from some very brutal slaughter houses. Its weird to think about.
Maybe I should do like Mike Tyson and go Vegan
I wish there was enough land to just let all those horses go free
Owning horses taught me a lot. They are truly amazing animals. Glorious to see them in motion. One thing I learned was that horses are highly emotional even crying. Ive seen horses utterly devastated when seperated from their mate. Heartbroken. They become part of the family.
Mankind has owed the Horse much thanks for thousand of years of service, and conquests in war, etc.
They have a higher intelligence that we dont have. A different kind of intelligence. Have always loved that animal. Man and horse have been inextricably linked for thousands of years.
