popped my tricep tendon around sept 1st. had surgery oct 12th. i didnt realize how long that it takes to come back from this type of injury. i havnt done any lifting since (so i look like shyt!!) and i've only had the range of motion to touch my nose for about 2weeks!! the brace came off yesturday, but its still pretty tender. i dont recomend that anyone fuks up their tricep tendon...its a ***** to come back from!!

i'm in pt now...next week we start LIGHT resistance. they are estimating that i could be back at it pretty good in about 6mos'HE WHO MAKES A BEAST OF HIMSELF, GET'S RID OF THE PAIN OF BEING A MAN!!

aaauprbdy: i dont know...i dont really have the money right now to find out. i think if it was a muscle tear or just a tendem tear it would, but my tendon need to reattach to the bone. its screwed to the bone, but you still want it too attach.
6p6: i originally did a small tear in 2006, doing skull crushers, but i didnt know that i tore it. it popped doing 80lb incline presses during warm ups...the week before i ramped up to 105 (pyramid sets, 60sec rest between) on 80's it popped on 8th rep....HE WHO MAKES A BEAST OF HIMSELF, GET'S RID OF THE PAIN OF BEING A MAN!!

Just let it heal on it's own. It really hasn't been that long yet. The body can repair itself so don't start rushing it. You rush, you will have a set back. Don't overdo it on anti-inflammatories if you are taking them.Veritas Vos Liberabit

idk what your strengths and weaknesses are but sounds like a good time to blast yours legs and abs.. i had a shoulder impingement a few years ago and took the time to focus on lower body. if anything it kept me focused. keep us posted man

damn dave, that is a pain to have the tricep tendon do that. sorry to hear, but glad you're on the mend. take it easy and don't rush it brotha.....lol says the idiot who is still trying to do the same weights from before my injury. it ain't worth rushing champ. keep us posted on your pt. and if you need help getting that dollar to the nude dancer i'm here to help you brotha =)
