My old computer at home still has windows 98, and I put a lot of pictures from my digital camera into there. I have a laptop with windows XP but it's being upgraded and Im adding additional shit to it. Anyway, when I transfer the files each picture is like 1.2-1.6MB! So I was looking and looking to find a way to resize them and I can't find ithat option, windows XP it's a piece of cake, does anyone know where to go to resize pictures using windows 98? For some reason Im having a real hard time with this. And belive me Im pretty computer literate, but I tried everything and can't seem to find that option.

Find somebody with photshop or some type of program like dropstuff where you can compress the files. Winzip might be of help? Probably photoshop would be your best option. Or save them to a jazz drive or another poratable hardrive.
If you can transfer the files from your old one top the new lap top. You said you knew how to do it on winXP so why not transfer them then resize them on XP??

thats what Im doin right now, transferring zipped files to my laptop, but it's taking very long cause these files are up to 16mb each. I just wanted to save time by resizing them on win. 98. And yes I know all about photoshop and it's a great program, my work has the disk so when I go to work I'll prolly take it home and load it into my home pc, thanx.
