As much as I stay current on politics I had not heard the details on this. It sounds like they really are trying to restrict who votes. I would imagine it is to try and get it to a two party only vote. Pretty darn ridiculous. The whole voting process is though. For instance, since I am a registered Libertarian, I will have to re-register as a Republican to vote for Ron Paul because my state, like most others if not all, doesn't allow you to vote for another party in the primaries.
