Any of you folks from the NE? We had a snow storm on Sat which reaked havic all over the place including downed power lines, fallen trees, accidents and loss of power for thousands. I was caught up in this and we lost power from Sat 2om till Monday 2pm. People now are still without power. Very eerie and creepie feeling when the sun falls and your living by candle light. Not that i'm paranoid, but i had the kids sleep on the floor in me and my wife's room and was certain to be close by to my pistol. All in fear of some a-hole knowing we had no power and trying to break in. My motto is prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

we got walloped by me in the hudson valley area of ny. Only lost power for a few hours but no cable, internet or tv for over a day. Tons of tree branches down and people driving like idiots and getting stuck right and left.Comment

yeah i just posted about it after having no electricity for 7 nights. ugh expensive buying 30 dollars of firewood a day to heat in my fireplace hoping every day that the power would come back up. lost my fiid in fridge and deepfreeze. was not happyYou may not recognize your mom when you get home, I shaved her back.
