      All the way down here also, but only slightly touch right below the nipples. Very slight pause, then back up, trying not to lock out at the top.

      Locking out to me is resting and I only want to rest between sets.

        i aways touch my chest. If your form is right benching shoudl not hurt your shoulder. I have dislocated mine 2 times and a can still bench heavy and hard with no shoulder pain. It took a long time to really hone in my form and get it correct. benching should be slow down controlled by your lats(yes i said lats) touch the chest with a small pause and then an explosion to the top.
