My son got beat up today

My wife was telling me this story about what happened today in school with my son and, as she was speaking, I felt my body temp rise and i started to sweat in anger.

My son is a small 5th grader, probably weighs around 65lbs and thin. There is this other 5th grader that is "slow" if you know what i mean. However and unfortunaltely for my son he is much bigger than he. Recently this kid has been more and more out of control talking back to teachers, running and screaming in the hallways during class, throwing things and being aggressive to other kids. To the point where he needs a different kind of schooling.

for whatever reason this kid was chasing my son, tripped him and repeatidly kicked him while on the ground in the head and stomach. Witnessed by other teachers.

Was told he will be suspended and i told my wife i want an incident report.

A little heated about this whole thing and not sure what else i could do

deff a good idea, it may scar up the teachers and principal to handle this more sevearly to cover there ass's.
tell em you want a report signed by the principle!
and that if there happend to be any other medical issues from this incident you will take further action.

That sucks to hear. Not to accuse your son, but at first thoughts of this story, most would assume your son was picking on the slow kid and ended up paying for it. I hope that's not the case.

def follow up with it skinny...that's why,even tho my girls sister-in-law hates it,i show my 2 nephews,her sons,how to fight back.i tell them if you see a little kid getting picked on you gotta help him out.if someone hits you you hit him back 3x as hard.i'd rather see them grounded with no Wii then beat up everyday like my ass was.now i love puttin bullies in their place whether i gotta get my ass whooped or not...

yeeeaa...thats a tuff one... i know when my daughter got jumped i was so pissed off...but what can you do? you have to just teach them too defend themselves AND MAKE SURE THEY KNOW THEY CAN!!! my daughter was getting pushed around by this little pip-sqeek at school. when i found out i was like "why"..."becouse i didnt want to get in trouble or get you mad at me for fighting"...she didnt know. so i told her if she DONT fight back, i'm gonna have to whoop her ass! i MADE her stand up for herself!! that girl dont fuk around with her anymore...but, my daughter was bigger so its different....i dont know bro....you just have to teach him how to kick that shyt out of someone!!

So my wife goes into the school today and they told her "we do not provide incident reports". That's bs. so i called and left a message for the principal for him to call me.

Honestly, my son is a wise ass but that was not the case with this. At least from what the teachers said.

I'm with you on that. Last year my son did defend himself against a fifth grader (my son in fourth at the time) by standing on the scholl bus seat (cause he is so small) and punching a kid in the face because the kid was slapping him in the face. Unfortunately the bus driver only saw my son punch and so he got in trouble.

wow that is crazy. i hope your Son is OK. that kid has no biz being in a public school, but our liberal society will say to give him another chance so he can beat up someone else because its his right to go to public school.
