So this talk show host, or his managers, asked this young boy to film himself while performing these dangerous stunts on his skateboard. Well, since the kid knew he mybe on TV he really went to the extreme. Ended up really hurting himself and now he's in a coma. Should the TV show be resposnible?
just goes to show how these talk show host will go to any length o get their ratings.all at the expense of others lives...15minutes of fame is not worth all that pain.

I would assume that someone signed a waiver which takes the show out of the equation. Do we know that the kid got way more extreme just because of the show? Or was it just the same old stuff he always does and just happened to get hurt really bad this time? After watching so many videos of these young skateboarders getting hurt time after time trying to land tricks....I could see the guy doing the same extreme tricks regardless of the tv show. I mean they really just said "film the crazy stuff you do." There is really nothing wrong with that statement if they were doing a special on The science of a teenage brain. I don't think they should be held responsible.
Should America's funniest home videos be held responsible for any injuries that occur in videos that people send in?

As a boy, < 18yrs of age, have yet to reach the age of majority. Meaning their signature on any documnat cannot be enforecable.
But it also said they were working with him and his parents....I just assume his parents had to sign. It's a bad thing, but probably would have happened anyway.
