I have been working with AT&T for over 10 years now and believe me, it is not a hard job. I basically work onsite at a hospital and cover over 50 of their locations. That is all we do. I get paid well and I don't really have a lot of stress until contract time comes up every few years.
With that being said, the work is SOOOO monotonous!! Sometime I wish I had just gone into business with my dad (dozer and backhoe type construction). I did this as a kid and I loved working outside. I am mainly just getting tired of working for someone and making them all the money. I could probably make much more money doing the same work within my own business.
You guys ever go through these kinds of ruts? I know it would be stupid to quit my job with benefits and retirement to do something like that. There just seems to be a ton of money(a ton by my standards) to be made out there and you can never get your hands on it working for someone else.
