tonsils...

Any one had their tonsils taken out as adults? I'm really considering it.... this strep throat bs is kicking my butt

no, not lately, but it isnt uncommon..especially if you are getting cronic strep..

i had them taken out at 34. it sucked more than you can imagine! 10 days i was out of work. but i have not been sick since............................



worth the pain. if you get it done set your alarm clock for every 4-5 hours to take pain meds. if you dont you will fall asleep and wake up after the pain meds have worn off. absolute agony. of i had my adnoids removed too.

my son had his out the next year. he was eating hamburgers the next day. very little discomfort. go figure

lol im really considering it. getting sick all the time just stinks! ive just heard it hurts alotttt but i think it may be worth it.

It is not worth suffering all of the time. You will get through it fine, you are woman remember?

never had mine out....they just detreriorated over time...nothing but a couple little nubs left...and i rarely get sick
