Has anyone else heard about having no more mail delivery? I heard this yesterday. Don't know ho that could happen but they have shut down many post offices in the chicagolan area.

If you've noticed they've scaled things back slowly over the years...don't think it could be totally shut down though...

First thing the USPS should do, is stop printing stamps. I can imagine that they spend over $100 million a year to print stamps. If they simply make people print postage at home, that would save them HUGE. Anyone who doesn't own a computer, must then use UPS or Fed/EX. If they did that one simple thing, they would save billions in the long run. They would employ less people at various post offices, and cut down on overtime. And, they could get a huge partnership with a computer company like Dell or Compaq, if the USPS promises to recommend one of their computers.
