bingo...bring back respect!! get your kid respecting you when they are young and it'll carry into their teen and adult life! and if they understand there's a punishment for the crime, they wont want it as much!!

My dad made a metal spanking rod, 1" x 3' and 1/4" thick- he even painted it a high gloss red. On my tenth birthday I told my dad that I thought I was too old for spankings, thinking I would just get grounded or something. He agreed and from then on I got knuckles. To this day I don't think anyone has hit me as hard as my father. Amazingly, we ended up like best of friends when I got older. To be honest though, I would rather have just taken a few cold showers and gulped hot sauce.
Some kids can be reasoned with. Others need a good spanking.

my dad used to tell my older brothers this when they were late getting home or got into trouble,my dad would say this to them,either go get the stick thats behind the door or go get a switch. Anone who doesnt know what a switch is,the switch was a branch off the trees in our yard long and thin.or the belt.I'm happy I was to young for my dad to do that shit to me. I was about 5 and I got got stealing some candy at 7/11 and I thouhgt I was going to get beat and I was crying so hard. When I got caught the manager knew my dad and they were friends so he called him and my dad came and got me. But when he piucked me up he didnt do anything he just said dont steal again.So I was to young and my brothers got beat,lol true story

thats kinda like me...i got my ass kicked by the oldman a couple times, but my brothers were 8-9-and 10yrs older!! they really got it...i learned by watching them what i didnt want to get CAUGHT doing, lol....but i still got it a few times....deserved everyone of them. my dad died a couple yrs ago (cant believe how long its been) and we was tight as you could get... i miss that old man....
