i need a computer geek...HELP!!

our Norton security expired so my girl decides to get Malware instead.now i can't get on a certain website which i've never ever had a problem gaining access to,OLM.everytime i punch it in or hit favorites it comes up as "cannot display web page" and i get a balloon that says malicious device detected.reason is it pings the site and if it doesn't get a ping back in mere milliseconds i'm denied.anyonr know of a way to disable this site from the security?i haven't been there all week and i'm freaking the **** out!

First of all malware will not protect you from viruses. I don't know what one you have but we have malwarebytes.com and we have no problems with it. If you have comcast you can get Norton for free through them. Or download the free Avast antivirus. We have had all of these and never had any problems accessing sites.

yup,that's the we've got too,malwarebytes.i don't understand why it's blocking this particular addy.all my other forums i get thru with no problem.gonna ask her to remove it and go back to the Norton protection we had first.malware must be really sensitive to everything.
