Troubled actor Charlie Sheen has admitted that he took steroids to improve his pitching skills in baseball movie 'Major League'.
In an interview with Sports Illustrated, the 45-year-old actor revealed that he took the controversial bodybuilding drug to prepare for his role, but stopped after eight weeks.
"Let's just say that I was enhancing my performance a little bit. It was the only time I ever did steroids," the Daily Mail quoted him as saying.
"I did them for like six or eight weeks. You can print this, I don't give a f***. My fastball went from 79 [miles-per-hour] to like 85," he added.
Sheen quit the drug when he lost control of his temper - and almost ended up hurting several strangers who mocked the spiky haircut he sported for the 1989 flick.
