His whole team basically just quit on him. They said they disagreed on the direction of the campaign. Sounds like Gingrich wasn't putting forth enough effort either. Count him out. He said he will continue to run but I doubt he will have any chance whatsoever of pulling off a win.

Although the brightest guy in the beltway, He is done with... If you look back to prior posts, I wrote that he would have an up hill battle even if his campaign gained momentum in the begining.

I remember you saying that. I was wrong in thinking he would be one of the front-runners, but I always maintained he wouldn't have a chance at winning. I actually am beginning to think none of them have a chance at winning, with one exception of course but the party won't support him. The Republican Party is hurting badly for a good candidate.

looks like his campaign team didnt like him taking time off when newt went on vacation or something and since rick perry might get into it they already had a association with his so some of newts team left not all of them. Guys its still way early to panic. And as I ofcourse will disagree with my friensd JSJS we have plenty of contenders to beat this idiot blojama. Word has it newts team were pissed that he spent some time away on vacation and they thought he wasnt taking this seriously and another thing was that his wife was calling alot of the shots,guys its still early cmon.And I have to disagree with my friend JSJS as any Republican who is in this race that wins the nod will beat this idiot and I cant even imagine why anyone would think different.No President has ever won with unemployment over 7% EVER EVER EVER EVER and with the jobs and the debt and the economy

I think if Chris Christie were to run he would win. I also think Pawlenty could pull it off if he plays his cards right. It is still early, thus Fuzo could prove correct (I hope so). My only hope is that Romney does not become the front-runner. I don't think he can pull it off.

But my pessimism, or realism better yet, is due to the overwhelming indoctrination of college students and the rest of the youth. Additionally, the increasing demand for handouts among many Americans also yields more votes for Democrats. Hopefully this socialist utopia mindset of the youth will change because if not it could land us in real trouble down the road.
