As most of you know from my thread in the anabolic forum I am almost 34 and had a guy call me old man after a match. It didn't hit mome until I went to the barbershop yesterday and as the guy was cutting my hair I could see it falling all brown and grey. not like it's salt and pepper mind you but alot more than I thought. I am not a vain person and really just get up take a shower comb my hair and go to work but when I got home I started really looking in the mirror. grey hair and tiny wrinkels by my eyes. I thoght about all the times I said I remember when I could eat anything and never put on a pound and I remember when I could get up without feeling soreness in my joints and having my joints crack as I move. It really struck a nerve when it all came together I am getting old. Anybody who has been there any words of wisdom? Is this a mid life crisis a little early. I don't want to be an "old man" I certainly don't feel like it.

I've got gray hairs too kid, and I'm almost in my 30's. The way I look at is like this. Keep training and stay healthy, you'll always look young, even though you might not feel that way. I still get carded at times when I do drink, Imagine that. It makes me feel good though becuase I take care of myself, like staying away from drugs and shit. The fact that you do that kind of working out(that box shit I guess), you'll always be in good shape, even when you get to that 50 stage

Bro your not an old man by any means. I'm 32 and look better than I ever have. Keep in mind I said look not feel. I raced motocross for years and my body snaps and pops when ever I walk. I feel old at times but don't let it bother me. I look at my friends that are my age and feel real good about myself and the way I look as compared to them. Stay positive and feeling young at heart.

bowbow, we should go ride sometime.
JG, I know how you feel, especially when I hang out with one younger girl in particular. its normal to feel the way you do now from time to time. If you didnt feel this way sometimes I would worry about you. Basicly it tell me I am still learning, you live you learn and so it goes. Thats my motto, always has been since I was very young.
Dont let it get you down, Of course your getting older. Realize that you will not look like you were 20 again no matter how hard you try but you also dont have to be a slob at 34 either.
I'm an in shape good looking 30 year old and that makes my fucking day!
Cheers bro, your 34, glad you could make it!

Start using a moisturizer after you wash your face in the morning.
Just apply a lil dab around your eyes where you're noticing the 'laugh lines'..
Also, there are lots of temporary hair coloring available.
You just squish temporary colors {ones which do not contain peroxide} through your hair about every couple of weeks.
You can start by using a color a lil lighter than your natural color so it's not a noticable change.
Do not use something off the grocery or drug store shelf.
Go to a beauty supply & ask about their temporary colors and they will provide you with hair swatches to check them out.
Beauty supplies are just like any other business. If you can't get the info you need from one, go to another.
One of my brother-in-laws was just going through this himself & we finally got him to try it & it really picks you up.
Women do it everyday.. alot of men tip their hair & change colors.
You would just be covering some grey. Go for it

Just do what I do - shave your head - only thing that sucks is if you let it go a few days too many you notice that the damn grey ones grow faster than the rest.
And NO WAY is 34 old man - try visiting a "retirement" home once a month. Ask around for someone who gets no visitors and ask the nurses what they like - then just stop by once in a while and bring it to them. You will value the youth you are still living!

Jipped,
Been there done that. And yes, it is an adjustment. Not a bad one though just an adjustment.
What they never told me was after 35 waking up in morning, not every day mind you, just every now and then will have some "pain" somewhere. And the thing is, for me, it comes out of nowhere, will last two three days, and then poof gone, and might not come back for 3-4 months. And it's different lots of times.
Now obviously this is the old Test slowing repair down, yet, still a pain.
Life does get 10's better in all seriousness, you start paying attention to only what is important and letting all the other stuff go by the wayside.
Only real and best advice, whatch nutrtion like a hawk, don't put on those old pounds you use to take off, because it's 10's harder to take off and takes lots longer also.
Other than that it's all a gift, enjoy.
Hoped That Helped
Good Luck
