Gun Shows suck... and are awesome

We had the big Gun show in Oaks PA over the weekend. I usually go to stock up on cases of ammo. WTF is up with these guys?? I can buy a case of Belliot 9mm ammo on like for $200, shipping included. These guys want $220 for a case at a show? The only thing I did pick up was 3 extra magazines for my M&P 9. And I was about 30 seconds away from buying a S&W .38 bodyguard. Wow! What a nice piece. Super lightweight, laser sight built in. The guy wanted only $429 for it, brand new. That's the awesome part. Guns are cheap, ammo is expensive.

What I hate is trying to buy a case of 7x62 the mexicans haven't gotten their hands on. these guys dolly cases of the stuff out to the front door where they got theit homie waiting just fillin' a whole trunk load of it,..even removing the spare to make room !!!

If you don't mind steel cased instead of brass, Tula ammo is dirt cheap. I think Brown Bear might make some as well. Try surplusammo.com

hr Russian manufactured Wof in 7.62x39mm is one badass round. Dirty?, yes it is. But if you have a piston driven gas operated rifle, (AK), there's no concern for the dirty blast. Those rounds are tuff. Take a piece of 3/8"-1/2" steel, hit it with one of those, and watch what happens.
I won't run Wolf in anything but my Kalash. Russian ammo for a Russian rifle. They go together like peas & carrots. It's a battlefield round.

I know what you're saying about the shows though. You can actually do better on allot of things. People just think that because it's a gun-show that everything's a good deal. Not so.

The guns shows here have awesome deals on ammo. Some guys there are a rip off but I know which ones to go to.

As for buying guns though I haven't seen any brick and mortar stores or online stores come close to Budsgunshop.com.

bud's is great, so it "impact arms" and "ammo to go" saw on the last UFC ammo to go was a sponsor. i by all of my bulk ammo from them. out of brenham Tx. 1 day shipping

i will say at the gun show i found a few deals where i would have come out tops even after tax. impact shipped my AR15 parts for free and just needed a $20 transfer fee for the upper

Yep the tax is where they get you. Buds has no tax and free shipping so there tough to beat. I'll have to check out those other ones you mentioned.

ammunitiontogo.com is on time with there ammo. i.e. kickass rounds, (bonded HPs {Gold Dots, Talons}, +P/+P+, NATO, Hi Shok, etc...) at kickass prices. It sometimes depends on when you hit 'em, but they always have at least 1 or 2 kickass deals on a kickass round.
I've bought 50rd boxes for less than a 20rd box costs at my LGS. Many times. I'm stocked up with some fine SD rounds from ammo-to-go.com.(ammunitiontogo.com) They have what you want at the price you dream of.
They used to carry the meanest SD shotgun shells I've ever seen. They had flachette shells, the ones loaded w/ 2 steel bearings linked by a steel cable, flame thrower shells. They even had the bean-bags & rubber slugs. (I think they still have those). The badass shotgun rounds vanished when the government went full out radical communist though.

I couldn't imagine getting hit with a 12ga flachette round. That'd probably make ya wish for the bearings to kill the pain...and the rest of your ailments. 1 of those center mass would end all your worries.

Buds is dirt cheap. Even after paying the FFL transfer fee, he still comes in a lot cheaper most of the time. See, damn you Js!! Now I have to see what Bud is charging for a .38 bodyguard. I may have a new toy.

Stainless Bodyguard .38 Special is $361 and free shipping. Lol, hey you can thank me later when you have it in your hand. I know it's tough to not buy something when you see those prices and free shipping with no tax (except KY residents). They have some great auctions too now and then. And right now they have a FN Herstal .45 with two 14 round mags and one 15 round for $594. I might have to get that one, been looking at it for a while.
