who here really thinks Blojama will have the same turn out he did in 2008,he wont no way statisticly impossible. He wont get all the african american vote like he did,he sure wont get all the jewish vote now after what he just said. Blue dogs are pissed and will vote Republican,Indipendants arent all going for him like they did in 2008. Now add in like ive been saying,unemployment wont get to the point to where it should be the debt wont get better,jobs wont get better like they should be and there are some that think he will still win I'm shocked. Even with his negative campaign coming no way. When the debates happen game over

I know how you feel Fuzo. I used to look at it the same way you are now. The only thing that prevents me from continuing to think he doesn't have a chance is the fact that Americans have a very short memory with politics and are easily persuaded, plus the level of corruption that will take place. The Democrat Party should be in trouble come election time but Republicans have to find a solid candidate to support. They don't have one now, and more keep dropping out of the race, which is odd to say the least. I wouldn't be surprised if they are being scared out by Chicago style politics. One thing is sure though, it is not easy to unseat an incumbent president. If the Republicans don't pull it off it will be because they have bad candidates. Ron Paul could easily pull it off but they don't want him to so he won't get their support. They didn't even mention his name once last night on Chris Wallace during his interview with other candidates. They act like he doesn't exists, and yet he is the only strong candidate right now. I think Republicans will win with the right candidate and a good campaign. However, I expect massive corruption on a level this country hasn't seen since FDR pulled off 4 consecutive terms. Obama is as dirty as they come, and so is the Democratic Party. The Republican Party has lost its power with the media and corporate businesses. They are going to have a hard time raising as much money as Obama, which is projected to be $1 billion. The bottom line is this, it would be naive to believe that Obama doesn't have a chance. He has every bit as good of a chance as anyone who runs, and I would say the odds are in his favor. But don't take that the wrong way. You know as well as anyone else that I can't stand that socialist anymore than the rest of you. Still, I keep a level mind about things and understand how difficult it will be for Republicans to win. They are as unorganized as it gets. Heck they don't even know who they want to run. People like us see all the bad things Obama is doing to the country, but the average American couldn't care less. The average American just votes for who gives a better speech, or who seems cooler, or who is better looking. Most people don't care about politics at all. Everyone will care though once this country implodes from a financial catastrophe. That is what is coming and there is no stopping it. But in the mean time we can keep changing parties in office to see who can outspend the other. Whoever is in office when it all goes down will get the blame.

My opinion is that the Republicans have a strong opportunity to pull off a win. As long as they get organized and don't blow it they will succeed. Of course, they also need the right candidate.

imho, the republican spent two years slamming obama, get in power and push abortion shtye thru-out country, taking away benefits people have paid for, protecting wall street and rich folks, imho, the gig is up for them, it's not about ideals or values it's about un-mitigated power, i sense the people sense they are corrupt, as opposed to dems who are good hearted yet a little slow to recognize problems and deal with them

The Democrat Party has become one that completely supports socialism to the fullest extent. That's a fact, not my opinion.

As for Fuzo's point about ss and medicare being broke, he is correct. How could you deny this? SS is nothing more than IOUs because the money is used to fund other activities. And besides, obviously it is broke because we are broke as a country. Whenever you have a $14 trillion national debt and run on a deficit it should be obvious that everything is broke. How the hell can you not understand that? We have to borrow money from the fed and other countries by selling bonds. Why? Because we spend more than we bring in, thus, we are broke. Trip you really need to read up on Austrian Economics, or any economist that is not a Keynesian. But this is basic accounting we're talking about.
