One more thing to add about the way bin Laden was taken out. I do not have a problem with going in and killing a radical dictator who is out of control and killing his own people, such as was the case with Saddam. Nor do I really have a problem with the way Bin Laden was killed since he was a terrorist mentor and mastermind to begin with. But I do know what Paul meant. It is a difficult subject to touch with a stance like his when you are talking about the man who praises and designs attacks on western society and the U.S. So I am glad the scumbag is dead, but I don't believe Paul should be criticized so heavily for his view.

The more I watch the news about Newt the less chance I think he has of being a serious contender. Just today Rush Limbaugh was saying that he didn't think Newt should be running nor has a chance. That surprised me.

Rush can be way out there and also Dick Morris agreed with Newt and after Dick explained it I wasnt at all mad at Newt.So media can make a shit storm. I like Rush but he is extreme

I'm not sure what you are referring to but I'm thinking you mean the food stamp comment. Rush was mad about Newt saying that he supported mandatory health insurance or something along those lines.

i saw an explanation of what the deal was, apparently newt was and has been in favor of romney-care for decades, but, he has a clear line on it, it is a state issue and a state issue only, federal should stay out

his prob is in this media environment he will have a hard time with the distinction of the two

it's one of those things, since he was a big wig and a big talker he's got 100's of hours of video footage on policy positions, and he flip flops like dead fish, which means he's just bait for the media when they feel like it

ron paul is a long shot, yet, things right now are going in his favor, huck's our, trumps out, unless someone new jumps in you'll have a boring old white guy and ron paul

thus he will have opportunity to mega air time, so, if he messages correctly and not stupidly and sticks with simple themes, what is real freedom.........property rights, etc.

u will find this statement out there, yet, i have 3,000 books, studied all kinds of shyte, and imho one of the greatest discoveries in history is 0, zero, yes, zero

seems very odd right, well, math did not discover zero until like 1,300 AD, when it was discovered and implemented man now had the ability to measure and project things statistically on ifinite time lines with no boundaries

property rights is the corner stone of capitalism, property rights did not take hold as an idea until around 1,500...........which means the individual finally had some law on there side, before that it was all slavery, kings and queens, monarchs, dictators

so when american came to be in 1776 they used the latest and greatest best ideas, as if today u built a country all based on the internet

without the sanctity of property rights, the goverment can do wtf they want

Trip you come up with some strange things...lol. Hey, have you ever heard of Bruce Mesquita? He is a political science professor at New York University. A guy I work with told me who he was today so I haven't done much research on him yet. Apparently he predicts future economic and political events using a mathematical formula. From what I have red so far it sounds like he is pretty accurate, and the CIA and Defense Department have both employed his services.

Back to the presidential race. Don't forget about Tim Pawlenty. He is probably going to go all the way to the primaries.

No, i have not heard of Bruce Mesquita, I've read half a dozen books on the subject. It seems once computers were more abundant on college campuses in the 1970' alot of mathematical formulating was done on everything.

I kept like two of those books and reread one a year ago. They are all imho fairly simple, x number of people, y number of resources....(several categories), z amount of clean water, plus amount of garbage produced

They all show very wide outcomes based on doing something at certain inflection points.

Every politician says something wrong or dumb on a show and the words get twisted. Now thats all that happened to newt. If you go look uo newt and his politics you could clearly see he is in favor for ryans proposal

This guy apparently accurately predicted the president of Russia once, and it was a man nobody had heard of. I haven't checked him out completely but his formula is proprietary.

What do you mean about paw paw. I have not said anything negative about Ron Paul. I just said he won't win because he is not corrupt or corruptible.

What I heard Newt say about Ryan's plan was that it was too far right.

But if people's words are twisted and sometimes are misconstrued, then why such an outrage over Ron Paul saying he wouldn't have killed Bin Laden. He clearly said that if intel was what we wanted he would have captured him alive to get more from him since he is no good for any of it dead. He also had said before that interview that it was good riddance that Bin Laden was killed. So it appears Paul is being severely taken out of context, not to mention people disregard that by not killing Bin Laden would have been no different than the way Saddam was captured, and he was armed. I only mention this because it works both ways. I know Newt may not have meant what he said, or at least to the extent it is being portrayed. But that is a result of the same dilemma Paul faces, a media that doesn't want him to be president, as well as in both of their cases it seems, a party that doesn't want them to be president.

to even infer there is "right wing social engineering" in this climate is not smart communication

Honestly I think what is going to crush him are his affairs in the past while married. This has destroyed the careers of many politicians, most recently my senator here in NV. The hard right Christians are not going to support him.
