Well guys over the last month two two months i have been fighting the worst acid reflux ever. at first i didn't realize what was going on. I thought i was just having a bad bout of heart burn. Finally i realized somethign was up when i was having a hard time eating and sleeping. I took the over the counter med and it worked great while i was on it. Heres the problem, you are only suppose to take it every 14 days for 4 months. well 3 days after stopping use it's back so bad i didn't want to eat yesterday and it makes me feel almost ill. Hopefully the doc will get me lined out so i can get back on track. This is effecting my workouts and diet to say the least.

Wow thats scary james I didn't realize you where hurtin' like that, I hope your doctor can give you some answers. good ones im hoping,..let us know whats up k ?Leaders did what others weren't willing to do, now they enjoy the things that others do not.

well just got back and she said that we will continue on the prevacid for now since when i was taking it it made everythign go away. She said that if it gets worse or this med doesn't work then come back so i can get a gut scope and see if there is anything else wrong. I started back taking pills today so hopefully this will do the trick. She also said i can take it and try coming off and if it comes back just to start up again. personally if i gotta take a pill everyday to keep this away it's more than worth it.Comment

Dang James, I feel your pain bro. That acid reflux is terrible. Sometimes I get it so bad its like my esophagus is on fire. I have no idea why. I can eat a piece of bread and it starts burning. Sometimes it doesnt burn for days and then will just ignite for no reason. I have 1,000 mg tums all over the place and probably chew about 4 -5 of those a day..I might try the apple cider vinegar again, but that shit tastes like crap and burns like hell to drink. Good luck. hopefull y the prevacid will do the trick for youComment

Acid reflux is a biotch! Hope all gets better, although the doc should obviously look in to it more than just sending you out with pills to take, AR can do a little damage if not taken care of not to mention the agony it puts you through."To gain strength on the outside it takes a greater strength within!"
